How to say “for in Thai (ให้/เพื่อ/สำหรับ)

1) ให้ (hâi) to do something for someone, to give something for somone, 给

ผม/ฉันทำกับข้าวให้แฟนกินทุกวัน

(I cook for my BF/GF everyday.)

ฉันสอนภาษาไทยให้คุณได้

(I can teach Thai for you.)

ผม/ฉันซื้อของขวัญมาให้คุณ

(I bought a present for you.)

ช่วยเขียนให้(ผม/ฉัน)หน่อยได้ไหม

(Could you help to write it for me?)

2) เพื่อ (pûea) for (what reason), for someone’sake, 为了

ผม/ฉันทำทุกอย่างได้เพื่อคุณ

(I can do everything for you.)

ผม/ฉันทำงานหนักเพื่ออนาคตของครอบครัวของเรา

(I work hard for the future of our family.)

3) สำหรับ (säm-ràb) for (what function/purpose)

หนังสือเล่มนี้เป็นหนังสือสำหรับเด็ก

(This book is the book for children.)

ปุ่มนี้มีไว้สำหรับถ่ายรูป

(This button is there for taking photo.)
