How to use “ทาง”

ทาง on its own means “way”

ทาง (+matter/subject ) – in perspective of, in terms of, in aspect of, with regards to, in view of (sometimes do not exist when translated into English)

คุณสามารถสื่อสารภาษาไทยทางธุรกิจได้ไหม
Are you able to communicate in Business Thai?

ภาษาไทยทางธุรกิจ means “business Thai” (Thai language in terms of business context)

เรื่องนี้ต้องคุยกับเจ้านายผม
ทางผม ไม่มีปัญหา
This matter you need to talk to my boss.
For me (in my perspective/where I am seeing), I have no problem.

In most scenario, the word “ทาง” is not translated into English.

ทางรัฐบาล ยังไม่เปิดเผยข้อมูล

The government has yet to reveal any information.
